The Brian Bosco Memorial Golf Tournament was established to honor the life and memory of Brian Bosco PGA, and to support Junior Golf in South Carolina. Through the game of golf, Brian touched a tremendous amount of people during his short time with us. Thank you for joining us as we celebrate the game of Golf that was so important to Brian, to contribute to the South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation, and let us all be reminded that life is fragile.
Brian grew up and learned to love the game of golf at Timberlake Country Club in Chapin, S.C. Brian was a member of the Chapin H.S. golf team and carried his love for golf to Coastal Carolina University where he earned his Business Degree and his Class A PGA certification through their Professional Golf Management Program in 2012. Brian was an assistant golf professional at Spring Valley Country Club in Columbia when he tragically passed away on 12/23/2015 from a heart attack. Brian was only 26 years old.
The Bosco Family, in coordination with the SCJGF and CCU PGM Staff, has established an annual scholarship that is awarded to deserving upper-class students in the CCU Professional Golf Management Program funded by the proceeds and donations generated from this tournament.
