Big Will’s Day Off

In 2014, the calendar for the SCJGF grew a little larger,  with a new event in October called Big Will’s Day Off.  Will Stephenson, “Big Will” as most knew him because of his towering appearance, was a fun loving gentleman who thoroughly enjoyed life and his ‘Days Off’ on the golf course. Unfortunately, Big Will tragically passed away before the age of 50 in early 2013 from complications of dementia that formed just after the loss of his wife, mother and father in the span of four years. Daughter and son, Taylor and Will wanted to honor their beloved parents and family in some fashion, as well as celebrate the life that they lived along with the things they loved to do. Once Taylor, BWDO Chairwoman, sat down with the SCJGF to discuss possibilities - we were able to help piece together the recipe for success.
